One of our favourite camping activities is firing up the propane deep fryer and cooking up wings and fries. Since we don’t know if that is going to be happening much this summer, we decided yesterday was as good of a day as any to break it out. If you don’t have a fryer these can also be baked. The important part I’m going to share with you is the sauces. Creamy dill wing sauce (makes about 2 lbs of wings)

1/2 cup mayo

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup pickle juice

1 tbsp dried dill

1 tbsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Mix. Toss wings to coat

New York butter sauce (makes about 2 lbs of wings)

1 cup buffalo hot sauce (our preferred brand is Franks)

1/4 cup melted butter

1 tsp vinegar

1 tsp Worcestershire

Mix. Toss wings to coat
