Ingredient:
5 small red onions, peeled and chopped into slices
1 cup of water
1 cup distilled vinegar
2 tsp sea salt
6 tbsp sugar (can substitute for honey)
2 tbsp black peppercorns
Method:
peel and chop onions into slices
soak onions in a bowl with boiling water for 5 minutes
prepare mixture— mix water, vinegar, salt, sugar, and pepper
transfer onions and the prepared mixture into a 1 litre mason Jar
refrigerate and serve when cold — top your toast, burgers, salad or pretty much anything you want! Enjoy!
